Workshops

Workshops will be offered through LRA Outreach that connect artists and the community through hands-on creative experiences. This 2026 initiative, based on a LRA member survey, will formalize workshops to support learning, collaboration, and community engagement. Check back here as this important initiative develops. Members or volunteers interested in offering a workshop are encouraged to contact LRA here.

Large Abstract On Canvas Workshop

Members bring their own large canvas and we go over abstract art principles and then paint based on an inspiration piece.

Sculpture With Tissue Paper Workshop

This involves boiling toilet paper, draining it and mixing it with glue and acrylic paint. An understructure of butcher paper is then covered with the paper mache. Members would leave with an unpainted sculpture to paint separately.
