Workshops
Workshops will be offered through LRA Outreach that connect artists and the community through hands-on creative experiences. This 2026 initiative, based on a LRA member survey, will formalize workshops to support learning, collaboration, and community engagement. Check back here as this important initiative develops. Members or volunteers interested in offering a workshop are encouraged to contact LRA here.
Coffee & Creativity: Triskele Globe Workshop
Join fellow LRA members for a relaxing two hours of coffee, conversation, and creativity as we create beautiful Triskele paper globes!
A Triskele (pronounced tris-kuh-lee) is a three-part spiral design with roots dating back thousands of years. Variations of the symbol have been found throughout the world, including Ireland, Greece, Italy, Korea, Japan, and Malta, where some of the oldest examples date to approximately 4400 BC.
During this hands-on workshop, you'll choose from several pre-printed designs and, using alcohol markers, you'll color three cardstock strips and then learn how to assemble them into a stunning three-dimensional Triskele globe to take home.
No artistic experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and enjoy an afternoon of making art with fellow members.
Time: 2 hours
