Sales & Artist Commissions

The League of Reston Artists (LRA) retains a 10% commission on all artwork sold through LRA-sponsored opportunities, including:

  • Art in Public Places (AIPP)

  • LRA exhibitions

  • Artwork sold through the LRA website

  • Sales completed up to 30 days after an exhibit closes when the sale is a direct result of that exhibit

Artwork is sold at the price listed on the entry form unless clearly marked Not for Sale (NFS). Works are sold framed and as exhibited, unless otherwise noted.

Interested buyers will contact artists directly using the email address provided on the artwork label. Artists are responsible for coordinating payment, delivery, or transfer of artwork with the buyer. Virginia sales tax (6%) is the responsibility of the artist.

Payment of the 10% commission to LRA operates on an honor system and may be submitted using the payment form below.
