Call For Entries Deadlines:
CLICKS 2026: USGS Photography Show
CLICKS 2026, The October Photography Show at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), is now open for entries! LRA and RPS photographers are invited to submit up to three images for this fall exhibition. A maximum of 60 entries will be accepted, so early submission is encouraged. Open to LRA Members and Non-Members.
There is no theme for the exhibition, giving photographers the freedom to showcase the subjects and styles that best represent their work. Images inspired by the mission of the USGS are also welcome—think landscapes, wildlife, water, geology, natural resources, changing environments, or the world around us.
If you are new to LRA or RPS exhibitions, you will only be contacted if your work cannot be accepted because the exhibition has reached capacity.
Application Deadline: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Drop Off: Thursday, October 1, 2006 at 9:00 a.m in the USGS Art Hallway
Pick Up: Friday, October 30, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
Judge: David Kepley
Reception: Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m; judging starts around 5:30 in the USGS Art Hallway.
Entry Requirements: Three pieces of photography per person; Maximum size is 36″x36″
Entry Fee: Members $25.00; Non-Members $35.00

artReston Painting/Mixed Media Exhibit - Fall Into Art
artReston Painting/Mixed Media Exhibit is now open for entries! LRA invites artists to explore the season as inspiration—through color, mood, texture, or personal interpretation. Open to painting and mixed media, this exhibit celebrates the creative richness and transition of fall in all its forms. This is a juried show open to members and non-members. Monetary awards. Judge: TBD
Application Deadline: Wednesday, September 30, 2026
Media: Limit is 2 pieces per artist; max size is 36×36 inches.
Drop Off: Monday, October 5, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
Pick Up: Monday, November 2, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
Tabletop Art Showcase: For the reception, LRA is offering participating exhibitors a chance to sell your small art, prints, or greeting cards! You must be present to display and handle your own transactions. If needed, small easels can be used for displaying. The reception is Sunday, October 18, 2026 at the Jo Ann Rose Gallery from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
