NATIONAL CATHEDRAL

TEA & STAINED GLASS TOUR

WITH ARTIST BRENDA BELFIELD

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20TH

12 – 6 pm (estimated)

Cost $40 per person

Brenda is painter and designer of architectural stained glass whose major commissions include 60 windows for the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. Her walls of glass are seen across the U.S. and in places as varied as the American Embassy in Saudi Arabia and the NATO base in Sicily, Italy. Belfield’s paintings have been exhibited in New York City, Los Angeles, and the Washington DC area. With paint or with glass, Belfield’s artworks evoke the illusion of light in a structure that explores order and spontaneity. (Her website is belfieldartworks.com.)

The tour takes us directly under the “Rose Window”, thru the towers, and to the top where we will enjoy our tea with a 360⁰ view and see some of the earthquake damage. (This is tea, not lunch; eat before we leave.) Afterwards, we will have a 15% discount card to shop in Herb Cottage or Cathedral stores.

Space is limited to 45 and is first-come, first-served. (Note: We cannot do an a la carte approach because if you decide to drive or skip tea, it increases the bus price for everyone else. We have purchased a group tour for 45.) Yes, you can bring non-LRA friends and family.

Don’t miss out – this will be a wonderful afternoon – and if you’ve never met Brenda, you’ll never forget her!
