Monday, March 1st, 10:00am – Drop Off followed by installation of the exhibit.
Volunteers to help hang the exhibit would be appreciated.
Monday, April 26th, 9:00am – Pick Up. Please be sure to pick up your art on time or make arrangements for someone to pick up your art. We are limited in time for pick up due to another event.
Entry will be closed after the maximum number of pieces is reached. The Exhibit Chair needs time to print labels and prepare for hanging. THINK about your info when entering online; it is recommended you print the entry page for your records. NO alterations will be made to titles or prices after the deadline. If you are unable to meet these requirements, contact your exhibit chair immediately to make special arrangements.
No Reception will be planned for this exhibit to allow for people to remain safe.
The exhibit will be judged and LRA will provide $750 for awards for this exhibition.
JUDGES:
Patricia Macintyre, LRA Co-Founder. She trained at the Corcoran School of Art and is owner of the Reston Art Gallery & Studios. Visit her portfolio and art work at the restonartgallery.com.
Dorothy Donahey, received her BFA from Ohio State University and has continued to pursue her fine arts career at the Reston Art Gallery since 1993. She specializes in representational abstraction, realism and landscapes. Visit her art work at restonartgallery.com
Entry Fees:
$20 Members – $45 Non-members over 18 years of age. Up to 2 pieces per artist may be entered. See below for payment instructions. Please note: If you are submitting an art piece 36 inches horizontal and 36 inches vertical or larger including frame it will be counted as two pieces. Maximum size 50″ by 50″.

About the Theme: In “Founder’s Day”, LRA artists imagine the beginnings of Reston, the seven guiding principles outlined by founder Robert E. Simon, and “Live, Work, and Play” in new and exciting ways. Artists may include subjects like The Spring Equinox, Renewal, Rebirth, Rejuvenate, Refresh, and Reconnect to celebrate the transition from winter to spring.
