JUDGE: Tricia Ratliff is an representational oil painter and artist who appreciates any kind of creative expression that’s beautiful or meaningful. She considers her art a way to connect in deeper conversation with others. So, some of her work is simply about beauty and color while other paintings contain narratives or subtle symbolism. Her oil paintings have been exhibited in galleries in California, New York, New Mexico and the DC area as well as on her website www.TriciaRatliff.com. For many years, Tricia has been a supporter of other artists by hosting art gatherings, organizing shows and workshops, teaching private lessons and by providing career mentoring. In addition to art, she’s a techie with a passion for fostering innovation who serves as an Agile & Innovation Coach to software startups. Now, with two fast growing boys at home, she appreciates the need to support innovative thinking in the next generation and runs a Kids Club for Inventors and Entrepreneurs on weekends. With such diverse interests, there’s no way to predict which paintings Tricia will choose so you’re encouraged to just have fun with it and come to the critique to see what happens!
