The Middleburg Arts Council issues a call to artists
Art in the Burg 2015
A Town-wide Arts Celebration

We invite you to take part in an exciting event this summer! The Middleburg Arts Council (MAC) is sponsoring the third annual town-wide arts celebration, Art in the Burg. Last year, over 30 artists enjoyed the beautiful day while mingling with the many visitors from the region.

Art in the Burg will be from 11 am to 5 pm, Saturday, June 20th. The event will also include music, wine tastings, and possibly plein air artists.

Tents will be placed at three locations on Washington Street (National Sporting Library & Museum, Middleburg Methodist Church and the large yard next to Sheridan MacMahon Real Estate Office).

Each location will feature tents (10×10) for artists and musicians. Each tent can host up to 2 artists demonstrating and offering their artwork for sale. The Town has a limited number of tents available. Artists may use their own tents (white tents preferred, 10×10, no tarps). We expect to be able to accommodate over 30 artists.

To Participate:

$15 nonrefundable registration fee
Artists will be required to sign a waiver form
Tents will be set up by MAC by 9 am
Artist set-up is required by 10 am
Take down no sooner than 5 pm
No rain date

Reserve Space Now:

To reserve space, interested artists should send an email to artburg2015@middleburgarts.org with the subject “Art in the Burg Artist.” Reservation deadline is May 20, 2015.

  • Medium
  • And if you plan to use a Town tent (first come, first serve)

Soon after we receive your email reservation, we will email you the application form and waiver. Your completed application, waiver and a $15 check payable to “Town of Middleburg” must be received by May 30th.
