ARTSFAIRFAX is pleased to support a significant arts research effort being undertaken by Fairfax County Government.
Fairfax County residents have the opportunity to provide input on the Master Plan for Performing and Visual Arts Facilities by participating in a survey to gauge the needs of the county’s arts consumers.
The anonymous survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and the information will be incorporated into the planning process. The survey closes Friday, Aug. 31.
The survey’s results will be provided to the county’s Master Arts Plan Task Force, which is using the data in concert with research and available facility data to understand how the county can effectively meet the arts aspirations and needs of county residents, arts organizations and businesses.

The Fairfax County Master Arts Plan Task Force is working in concert with ARTSFAIRFAX and Fairfax County Government. The task force is composed of county residents and others with expertise in the arts, planning, business development and public policy. A report on the survey’s results and other activities is anticipated by the end of 2018.
