The Artists Undertaking Gallery in Occoquan has 3 future openings for 2D (painting, mixed media, photography, etc) and 3D (ceramics, glass, sculpture, wood turning, wood working, etc) artists.
- Starting December 1, 2018 – wall space* for a 2D artist – Sundays
- Starting January 1, 2019 – shelf and display space** for a 3D artist – tWednesdays
- Starting January 1, 2019 – wall space* for a 2D artist – Tuesdays
* 2D wall display space is approximately 11 feet long – height is 9 feet. We use the Walker Hanging System – rods and hooks
** 3D display space consists of shelves, tables and pedestals.
The Artists Undertaking Gallery is co-op and all artist members pay their share of all the costs via a monthly charge of $150 per artist. Artists retain 100% of their sales. Each artist is required to staff the gallery from 11am to 5pm on a set day, every other week. Monthly meetings are held at 7:30pm on the first Monday of each month at the gallery.
Potential artists must present their work at a jurying session to the Gallery Membership at the monthly meeting. Next meeting is November 5th at 7:30pm.
