An Artist’s Journey

From her midwestern small-town roots to her 11 years in Africa and 6 years in Europe to her current Virginia residence, Sharon has always created artwork. In this collection she exhibits paintings that reflect experiences in her life and her varied approaches to painting. Sharon not only paints from direct observation but creates abstract and non-representational work as well. Sharon earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in painting from George Mason University. She is a member of the League of Reston Artists.
