LRA Artists Travel Around the World
Juror: Sara Linda Poly
Known for her sweeping skies and landscapes, Sara Linda Poly is inspired by local eastern scenes and the many other locations to which her love of plein air painting has taken her. “I love the subtle and dramatic atmospheric changes caused by the weather and the seasons and how that affects the quality of light” states Poly. She teaches outdoor landscape painting classes and workshops through The Art League School, The South Street Gallery, Nimrod Hall Summer Arts Program as artist in residence and many others. Ms. Poly has many awards including a 2007 First Place Award from the Washington Society of Landscape Painters Annual Competition.
