Paint & Beyond Exhibit at USGS

The Paint & Beyond exhibit at USGS is up and looking wonderful.  We have many new members on display and it brings a new energy evident in the hanging.  Be sure to drop by for a viewing.

Many thanks for all our volunteers, all who “hung around for the hanging” – Nina Sokolova, Alessandra Ricci, Leo Deege (old reliable!), Cheryl Parsons, Karen Danenberger and, of course, board members Regina Petrecca, Karen Hutchison and Jim Schlett.  A special hug to Bill Shaw, a brand new member, who jumped in with both feet and did a little bit of everything and learned the “system” for hanging an exhibit – welcome aboard!

Bill will also be hosting a very exciting tour for us in the fall (possibly early November).  We closed last year with the National Cathedral – well, this will rival that!  Stay tuned for exciting details.

Don’t forget our upcoming exhibits – the GRCC (painters down/photogs up) on Aug 7th, Ernst Center at NVCC in September and artReston at Lake Anne in October (paintings with a poetic theme).

For more information on these exhibits, check the Exhibits listings on the website, or contact the exhibit chairs, or you can always contact yours truly.
