An exhibit of paintings by John M. Waddill opens May 1 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington. A reception will be held on May 15. The show features mostly watercolor paintings by John M. Waddill (1927-2013), a South Carolina native with early ties to NY, whose work is highly influenced by the watercolors of John Marin, Andrew Wyeth, Edward Hopper (to a lesser degree) and Japanese painting.
