Photoworks Gallery in historic Glen Echo Park is proud to present Forces of Nature, an exhibition of black and white photography.  The show's images record the visual beauty of the forces of nature on the natural and man-made worlds.

Dennis O'Keefe's images from the C & O Canal represent nature in a state of purity -- exploring the interplay of light and water.  In his collection titled "Close to Home," Everitt Clark's photographs capture the quiet, sometimes disturbing beauty that resides in our everyday environment.  And Tanguy de Carbonnieres presents "Not A Walk In the Park," bringing you up close to tragically worn and torn man-made structures and objects in both Paris and Washington, DC.

These photographers were selected for this exhibit from the 2012 Photoworks Call for Proposals.  Also, exhibitors Tanguy de Carbonnieres and Dennis O’ Keefe are long-time attendees at Photoworks “Coffee and Critique” – a free monthly "photo jam session" -- designed to examine photographers’ current work and ongoing projects.
