The Vienna Photographic Society is hosting a presentation by Nikhil Bahl titled – Creating Dynamic Images . He is a full time professional photographer, author, educator, workshop instructor and environmentalist residing in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Primarily inspired by nature, Nikhil seeks different approaches and interpretations through which he strives to create images that challenge the traditional outlook of the subject and express how he personally feels about its beauty. Another aspect of Nikhil’s photography involves the documentation of natural habitats and the wildlife that inhabits them. He attempts to artistically portray environmental stories with an eye toward conservation and education. His passion for the natural world has led him to volunteer his time and photography skills with the National Park Service and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
Nikhil’s work has been published in a number of print and electronic media. His fine art prints have been widely exhibited in the Washington metropolitan area, and are part of many private collections. He leads several photography workshops and tours in the United States and abroad. His instruction is focused on interpretation, expression and developing personal vision.
