MIND, HEART, VISION
Spotlight Shines on Student Creativity, Expression and Collaboration

ArtSpace Herndon presents the 6th Annual Mind, Heart, Vision Exhibit showcasing extraordinary artworks of Herndon High School art students embarking upon their senior thesis. This ‘must see’ exhibit includes computer graphics, fine art photography, and studio art. In a collaboration with Herndon High School’s Art Department, ArtSpace Herndon provides students with this unique opportunity to have their juried artwork displayed in a professional gallery. Local artists Melanie Stanley, Livingston Rodgers, Marjorie Powell, Andrea Cybyk and Joanne Wittauer are jurors for the show. The student artwork on exhibit will also be available for purchase.

During the Opening Reception, students will have the opportunity to greet and network with patrons, provide background information on their works, and interact with professionals and art enthusiasts alike. New this year is the support these emerging arts masters will receive from their fellow students in the form of an elegant buffet presented by the school’s Family Consumer Science Division along with an impressive, inspiring repertoire of music presented by the Music Department’s Classical Ensemble.

“We are delighted to be working with Herndon High School to showcase some of the most outstanding student talent in the county,” said Executive Director Signe Friedrichs. “We hope everyone will join us for the reception as we celebrate these exceptional young artists, their hard work and dedication!”
