WPA's biannual artist directory is seen by curators, gallerists, art consultants and collectors throughout the Washington region and participating in the Directory is a fantastic opportunity to increase the visibility of your work. We regularly hear from artists who were contacted by collectors, curators and consultants who initially saw their work in the WPA Artist Directory.
Registration for the Directory is open to all WPA members. Participating artists each have one page, which features an image of their work and their contact info. The deadline for registering for the 2011 Directory is February 1, 2011 and the book will be published in May of 2011. The Directory is distributed to local arts press, curators and arts consultants and will also be available for sale on the WPA’s website and at the Corcoran Museum Gift Shop.
As an effort to reach out to other arts organizations, we offer registration discounts to artists who are affiliated with other membership organizations, studio spaces and non-profits. LRA artists will be offered a membership and registration discount.
