Volunteer to design and coordinate an LRA booth at the Terraset Elementary School Carnival!!
The League of Reston Artists has the opportunity to get involved with Terraset Elementary School's Spring Carnival on April 10th.  We need a member to volunteer to manage a booth or artist projects for the day.  If you're interested in getting involved, please contact President.LRA@gmail.com for more information.
Terraset PTA is organizing an Earth Day Carnival and we are looking to involve a range of community groups. The Carnival is set for Sunday April 10th, from 12-3:30pm.  The Earth Day theme provides an opportunity for Terraset to celebrate its historical beginnings—which are, literally, founded in its environment. We also aim to expand this environmental theme into one of healthy living through good nutrition, exercise and creative expression.
As a means of encouraging participation, we are introducing our “Tigers for Change”. This year students can earn Carnival Tickets while giving back to the school! We want to offer them an opportunity to do something significant for Earth Day and use the power of working together to make our school a greener place!  Just like Disney’s Friends for Change… students are invited to be a “Tiger for Change”.

We are organizing two Tigers for Change projects!  “The Big Cleanup!” will start at 11:00am on the day of the carnival. This is an effort to clean up one spot in the school vicinity.  The “Garden Green” project invites everyone to get their hands dirty in the butterfly and vegetable gardens on the school roof top. Boy Scout Pack 32 cubs will work from 12-1pm to help prepare the gardens for spring!
