- Inner Librare, Workhouse Art Center, Vulcan Gallery, Lorton, VA, August 24?October 6, Wed-Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm, Sunday, noon to 5 pm.
- City Council Meeting, A Drama, Research Building I, Room 163, George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, Monday, September 23 at 1:30 pm.
- Out of Books: Poet and Artist Alec Finlay, Research Building I, Room 163, George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, Thursday, September 26 at 4:30 pm.
- Photography: If You Knew Me You Would Care, Center for the Arts Lobby, George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, Friday, September 27 at 11 am.
These events are part of a full week of festivities, September 22-27, at locations throughout Northern Virginia and Maryland. There will be over 100 authors, including Pulitzer Prize-winning humorist Dave Barry, thriller writer David Baldacci, acclaimed poet Sonia Sanchez, and memoirist and novelist Cheryl Strayed.
