Tricia Ratliff

Having grown up in the shadows of the Music Hall in a historic district, Tricia Cherrington-Ratliff credits New York's vibrant art scene with inspiring her to create fine art at a young age. The history of her surroundings gave her a lifelong sense that a beautiful work of art outlasts a generation and speaks to those who come later. She considers artwork a legacy to be passed to others.

Tricia is a member of the Fine Art Professionals of Virginia . In support of the art loving community, she has organized numerous art events, judged exhibits and hosted artistic gatherings in her homes and studios over the years.

THEME:   The Sound of Color

Music produces images, colors, dreams...

Reality changes when you listen to music...a new world opens up the window of your imagination.

LRA invites its artists to open that window, to paint freely, and through brush strokes and color make the music come alive.

Be creative!  Give color to the notes!

Please include in your entry the song and the musician that inspire your piece, and opt to you, a little note to let the audience know more about your art piece, and the relation with your favorite song. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact Antonella to antomanganelli@aol.com

$20 - Members, $30 - Non-Members. Up to 2 pieces per artist can be entered. Work 36” and over in any direction counts as two pieces. See below for payment instructions.
