Barnes & Noble Display Opportunity (LRA members only)
LRA members have been offered the opportunity to display work at Barnes & Noble in Reston. It is a small space that will fit only 10 to 12 small works or 3 to 4 large works. The wall is tall for those who want to hang large pieces, salon style. Prices cannot be displayed on the works, but there is a plastic holder on the wall for placing a stack of bio/price lists. The usual "public places" rules apply—no nudity or violence can be depicted. Each exhibiting artist will be responsible for hanging and maintaining their own exhibits, which will be displayed on a two-month rotation. LRA will maintain the schedule, and will charge a 10% commission on any sales from this location. If interested, contact CParsons1@aol.com.

Art in Public Places
The Art in Public Places program is coordinated by the Council for the Arts of Herndon and LRA member Pat Macintyre as an outlet for artists to display their work in area office buildings and commercial establishments. If you are interested in joining the Council for the Arts and participating in this program, please contact Pat at pckmacintyre@restonartgallery.com.
